I recently turned 33!
As I embrace this Larry bird status I am sure that aging is the weirdest
thing that happens. I've noticed that the older I get, the less
excited I get about the arrival of September the 10th. I don't feel
any older......that is until I see others peoples children that are walking,
talking little humans.
A few years
ago, I started a tradition of making a list of this to do before my birthday
the next year. Although this past year has been good, I did not get
everything completed on my list. I love that it helps me check my
progress and keeps me on track.....most of the time.
While
reviewing my lists from the previous year, I feel like the past seem less like
a faint memory and more of a huge accomplishment. I have a lot
to be proud, a tangible list for the past, and a lot to be excited for in the
future -- and what could be better than that? As I contemplated the wish list I
had for last year, I realized how thankful I was to have it. I was grateful
that I'd devoted my energy and time to think about the things I
wanted over the year.
Here are the 33 things I hope to do before I turn 34 (Larry Bird
to Charles Barkley):
