A new chapter in my life has begun….I have started a new job. I hate to admit it but I am getting to that age where full insurance benefits, paid vacations and 401ks are important. I am working in a quite office on the Columbia River. I love being next to the water all day it’s like the cure for my anxieties. That is if I don’t think of the HUGE petroleum barges parked in the water within 100 ft of my desk. Being a construction company there is a lot of testosterone which I much prefer over estrogen. My dogs can come to work with me that is if they behave themselves…..so Legend gets other special arrangements because of his “ISSUES” from being a Japanese sniper in his past life. Yes you heard me correctly.

I do miss the animal hospital. It was hard leaving the comfort and caring for the animals behind.


Life is good and I finally after several months feel like I am where I am supposed to be.


I took a semester off from school…needed a break after a grueling semester of chemistry and calculus. I may finish my BS by the time I am 35, but life isn’t about school or work it’s about what you do in the between times.

I am growing happiness under my own feet!



Just when I think life is perfect my brother Nathan sends me this picture via text of a fish my dad caught today....THEY DONT WORK ON FRIDAYS......Jerks!
